BuddyTraffic app for iPhone and iPad

BuddyTraffic is a highly user-friendly, social traffic iPhone app that relies solely on the input of its users. With BuddyTraffic
you will belong,
you will inform and
you will get rewards.

You sign in and you automatically belong to a group of users that inform each other in real time about the traffic conditions on the location they’re at.

How do you do that? You first select one of the four faces, Buddies, according to how YOU value the traffic conditions.
The Red, Angry face means heavy traffic and gridlocks
The Mellow Yellow face stands for medium traffic and slow movement.
The Happy, Green face means normal conditions and that traffic is moving well while
The Silver, Inci face means be aware of incidents ahead, like accidents, road works, marches, open markets and other, unplanned events.

Once you have selected the buddy face, a comment box slides up. There, you can write a personal comment such as: “Anyone up for coffee? Because we wont be going anywhere...” or “Roadblocks over here, don’t drink and drive”

The info provided and the username will appear at the “Live Ticker”, a location-aware, relative time text. All signed in members at a radius of 10 kilometers can see it and spot the exact location.

All traffic information, without comments, is integrated in the “top roads” section. That is, a second screen in BuddyTraffic’s interface. There, you will find a sum of all streets, jammed or open.

Your input will also appear at the location aware “Text Feed”, where all nearby posts and updates are presented. The interesting feature here is the “Ask Him” button, which allows instant messaging between members.

A sum of reports is presented in your profile. There, you present a profile picture, if you choose to synchronize the app with facebook or twitter. Other members may access your profile by tapping on your reports.

Inform more people by sharing your update on facebook and twitter.

In BuddyTraffic world terms? Badges!! Blue, Green, Gold Badges! How do you earn them? By posting your updates. We reward you for helping the BuddyTraffic community. The more updates, the more badges.

Badges make your profile pretty! Any other use? The BuddyTraffic team is working on that. The plan is to work with retailers. Create a loyalty-reward system in which, you will win rewards such as price reductions, gifts and more.
